Chocolate Açaí Pudding Smoothie

  • 1 3.5 oz. packet frozen unsweetened açaí
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup vanilla non-dairy yogurt (I used Trader Joe's almond milk yogurt)
  • 1/4 cup cacao powder (or cocoa powder)
  • 4 tsp. maple syrup
  • cacao nibs and banana slices for topping (optional)


  1. Add the açaí, banana, non-dairy yogurt, cacao, and maple syrup to a blender. Blend on low speed until large pieces are broken up, then switch to high speed until everything is smooth.

  2. Pour smoothie in a glass, then top with banana slices and cacao nibs (if desired) and serve immediately.

Notes & Hints

If you can't find unsweetened açaí packets, leave the maple syrup out. Then add it to taste, if needed.

If you're using an unsweetened yogurt, you may wish to add more maple syrup, to taste.
